Kaya is an unspoilt mountain village and is, in itself, a tourist attraction. It’s population was a mixture of Turkish and Greek until the 1920’s when political differences between the two countries governments resulted in a population exchange. All Greeks in turkey returned to Greece and vice versa. From then the once- Greek homes are now in ruins. Some people mistakenly call Kaya the “Ghost Town” but this is inaccurate as there is still a thriving Turkish community there.
The village is 15 minutes by car from both Fethiye & Olu Deniz beach, the most beautiful & famous beaches in Turkey.There is a regular mini-bus service from the village square to these places as well as to Hisaronu, a bustling village with plenty of restaurants & nightlife 10 minutes away. It is surrounded by mountains & forests, wonderful for walks & pinics.
We will arrange for taxi or mini-bus (depending on party size) to meet you at Dalaman Airport & transport you to your accomodation.Transfer time is about 40 minutes.The owner of your holiday accomodation is English, lives nearby & always on hand to help you with any queries.
The Cottages are one bedroomed, self contained stone cottages with beamed ceiling, open fireplaces and many original features. Each spacious cottage is furnished in traditional Turkish style and has well equiped kitchen facilities. The double bedrooms have large modern marble tiled en-suite bathrooms (with bath & shower). Each cottage also has it’s own shaded patio area with garden furniture where you can eat your meals or relax with a drink. Perfect for a romantic holiday for two.

The Villa is a light and spacious villa which can comfortable sleep 8 - 10. It’s large dining room/lounge with open fireplace opens onto a marble terrace with garden furniture where you can eat your meals in the shade or relax in the sun with a drink.You can even help yourself to the fruit from the various trees in season.The four bedrooms each have an ensuite marble bath/shower rooms and are well furnished. There is a large kitchen which is well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave as well as normal cooker.The Villa is just right for a large group to enjoy their holiday together.
